All the big companies are represented in Sweden and the petrol stations also have cars, trailers and trucks available for hire. Generally they accept foreign drivers licences, even without an international licence. It may depend on which country has issued the licence so ring to check first.

There is a website called HyrBil that provides an on-line booking service using a number of the larger companies. You can book a car in Sweden or even internationally and it will give you a range of alternatives and prices. Unfortunately it is only available in Swedish but if you put in the relevant dates and country you should be able to navigate your way around.
